“What is a Surface Designer!?” You ask.  Well, the best way I can describe it, is this.  You know the patterns on tissue boxes, shower curtains and wallpaper?  A Surface Designer is the person who creates those patterns.  It is our job to create the artwork that goes onto products.  My specialty lies in textiles.  I like to create patterns and artwork for fabric and then use that fabric to turn into beautiful things with other designers.  I primarily work with silk.  I am a big fan of bright, highly saturated colours and high contrast.

My love of colours and pattern is probably one of the reasons I love to travel so much.  I have been to New York, Bermuda, Cuba, Guatemala and I cant wait to explore the rest of the world.

My goal is to work with and encourage other artists while promoting all of our skills and talents. It is my dream to one day make a living from this crazy art life I lead and hopefully travel the world while doing it.
